We are proud to announce that the very first Chaitech Techpreneur cohort has completed their first module on Tech Startup Essentials. We have our awesome mentors Jade, Borut, Nada and Michelle to thank for their great contributions on Business Model Canvas / MVP, the story of GINA – a smart coffee maker, Startup Fund Raise and Venture Finance, plus the role of coaching in tech enterprise and team work. Plus of course our young techpreneurs’ cohort reps Jenna and Yasmar.
Tech Startups Essentials Module was run via Zoom, complemented by Chaitech Moodle as an online learning tool and materials depository. St Lucian young techpreneurs would engage in weekly presentations by mentors focusing on practical aspects of starting a tech company. In parallel, young techpreneur teams would be working on proof of concept and MVP for their own tech startup.
Tech Startup Essentials Module will be followed by (another fully virtual due to COVID-19) module on App Development, focusing on issues such as the implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI), data science, and online security in Web and mobile apps.
