As part of Innovation Cafe and Young Techpreneur Programme, Kenty Ramdatt, CTO of Penny Pinch, St Lucian fintech startup, explained his steps from being a tech enthusiast to becoming a tech entrepreneur. This included his initial career with Cable&Wireless in St Lucia and his later studies and business career in the US. When back in St Lucia, he acted as the CTO of Zippy Freight, a highly advanced St Lucia- and US-based online shipping and freight forwarding agent, and later as CTO of Penny Pinch that seeks to revolutionise payments in the Eastern Caribbean.
He advised Chaitech Young Techpreneur cohort and other Innovation Cafe guests regarding a number of questions, from the choice of the programming languages, to their career and educational path.
