Chaitech pilot young Techpreneur Programme in Saint Lucia kicked off despite difficult times of COVID-19 pandemic – for now strictly virtually. Our first session: Business Model Canvas and MVP.

The first online session of the pilot young techpreneur programme in Saint Lucia focused on Business Model Canvas and Minimum Viable Product (MVP) presented by our mentors Jade Hutchinson of Noah Energy and Dr Bostjan Makarovic of Aphaia. Followed by our pilot group of two young startups, Mweh Lah, working on a ticketing app, and Carved Cravings, working on a online outlet for designer cakes sales, plus other young people in St Lucia who want to get into tech enterprise.

Based on this initial session, the participants have been asked to apply the concepts of Business Model Canvas and MVP to their own tech startup, working towards a proof of concept for their own startup business.

Our programme continues this week with a session on Growth Mindset by coach Nada Mesqui and next week with Borut Kumperščak’s virtual workshop on  the journey from an idea to its market deployment – explained on the example of the Gina IoT coffee maker.
